Did you know that there are 10,000 children in Canada currently living with cancer and its often life-long effects? Did you know that 1 in 5 will not survive, and many of the survivors will have serious life-long health problems due to their treatment? Did you know that only 4-5% of cancer research dollars are devoted to children’s cancers?
The Knights on Bikes are an organized group of Knights of Columbus who combine their passion for biking with their love of their faith. They travel together for organized outings and events and charity fundraising. Holy Rosary Knights Colin Genier and Tom Pepper are proud memebers of Knights on Bikes.
The R.O.C.K. is an annual charity ride dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research. It was founded in 2004 by Bob & Lori Thomas after losing their daughter Samantha to cancer just 3 days before her third birthday. Every dollar raised goes to Childhood Cancer Canada to fund research at the 17 children's hospitals across Canada.
Childhood Cancer Canada and Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation's mission is to change the face of childhood cancer in Canada so that no more parents hear the words "your child has cancer".
