Love was in the air last Valentine's season as the Knights of Columbus hosted their much-anticipated Valentine's Gala fundraiser. The event was a spectacular affair filled with romance, charity, and goodwill.
The Knights of Columbus organized the gala to raise funds for a noble cause - the Townsend Smith Foundation. The foundation has been tirelessly working to working to build North Halton’s first hospice residence hospice to provide palliative care for individuals living with a life-limiting illness and support services for that individuals’ loved ones.
The gala was a resounding success, thanks to the community's unwavering support. Attendees enjoyed a night of exquisite dining, music, dancing, and a silent auction, creating an atmosphere of celebration and unity all while contributing to a cause close to their hearts. The gala attendees were eager to show their support, and their generosity knew no bounds.
The Knights of Columbus presented a donation of $6,700 to the Townsend Smith Foundation supporting the foundation's mission and reinforcing their commitment to making a difference in their community.
The Valentine's Gala Fundraiser was a testament to the Knights of Columbus' dedication to both love and charity.
