In the spirit of giving, the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program emerges as a beacon of hope, ensuring that no child goes cold during the winter months.
Today, more than ever, there are children going without. Think of the difference it would make in their lives if they had a warm coat to confront the rigors of our cold climate. A warm coat means a child can more realistically attend school, go to after-school programs, fit in with other children, play and do all the things that kids do to be kids. In a very real sense, a warm winter coat means mobility. Coats for Kids helps to make this seemingly small part of life a little bit easier for these families.
The Coats for Kids program is a shining example of our commitment to charity and service. Launched in 2009, this initiative aims to provide winter coats to children in need, ensuring that they stay warm throughout the colder months. Over a million new winter coats have been distributed throughout Canada and the United States since the program began.
